Hello, Dear Readers, and welcome to my new blog :) This is dedicated to all things home. I've struggled for years, as I'm sure some of you have, to make my home a warm, inviting place. I've succeeded here and there, but I've decided this is the year that it all comes together!
My mom has worked outside the home for as long as I can remember and every Saturday was "cleaning day". I hated it. I was in charge of dusting, vacuuming, and the bathrooms. Mind you, I'm an only child. I've come to realize though, that my mom just "surface" cleans. If you were to go to her house (for say, Christmas), nothing would be out of place. Everything would like lovely. Decorations would abound. But don't look in the refrigerator. Or the cabinets. Or under any of the sinks. Or under the beds. You get the idea.
If you can devote the time to getting those monsters under control, you will find that it only takes a few minutes every week or month (depending on the area) to keep it under control. It's what I call company read. You never know when company might stop by and you never know how nosy that company might be!
